The Walvis Gasport project is an SPV to develop, build and own the associated LNG infrastructure, in Walvis Bay port Namibia, with an aim to provide natural gas for the 600MW power plant. The LNG infrastructure will include the FSU, regasification and a 12.7km gas pipeline from the port to the power plant site. The WGP, will have excess capacity to serve other off takers such as mines, captive power plants and industrial users.
